- Usage of 'Speedup'
- ---------------
- 'Speedup is a public-domain-program: You can copy it all you want, as
- long as you don't change this message.
-
- Speedup takes two optional parameters:
-
- The first specifies the drive number : i.e:
-
- Speedup df1:
-
- If you don't give a drive number, it runs from df0:.
-
- The second possible parmeter is a value that you want speedup to use.
- i.e.: speedup df1: 900, speedup 800 etc.
-
- If you don't give this parameter, speedup will go into an interactive mode,
- in which you can enter this parameter.
-
- The second parameter is the length of time that the Amiga will wait until
- it steps the head of the disk drive.
-
- The smaller the number that you give it is, the shorter the it waits, and
- the faster it steps.
-
- Speedup will not accept a second parameter that is less than 500, otherwise
- you would get read errors on your drive. (In some cases, this number may
- be higher).
-
- My favorite is 800.
-
- Here is another example of how you could use this in your Startup-Sequence.

- I have nothing to do with this program, other than this translation provided
